 Shayne in the summer - win a personalised postcard

It’s that time of the year where many of us will be taking a holiday and we thought it best that we spread some Shayne love in the process...
We’ve got a great prize to give away, but in order to get your hands on it we want to see some holiday snaps - and not just any old snaps!
We want to see you on holiday with a Shayne item – it can be anything Shayne related - a photo, album, woollen hat – the quirkier the better.
Whatever the item is, we want to see you pictured on holiday with it and a prize will be awarded to the quirkiest item and most interesting destination.
For example – someone pictured in the Antarctic with a life-size Shayne cut-out has a pretty high chance of winning (not that we’re expecting you to travel that far), in fact, don’t worry if you’re not travelling miles, we’d love to see your photos even if you’re taking a holiday round the corner…
When the summer’s over we'll create a slideshow of all the pictures entered and feature it on Shayne’s MySpace profile page AND one lucky winner will receive a personalised holiday postcard written by Shayne himself!
So if you fancy sharing your holiday experiences, winning a prize, spreading some Shayne love and getting your snaps up on Shayne’s MySpace add your pictures here in the forum.

It's a nice idea - but shouldn't it have been posted about 1 month ago, or more! Plenty of people have already been on holiday (I have)this summer or are on holiday at the moment, so won't know about the competition. I mean there's only 2 or 3 weeks of the main holiday season left!
Ok maybe I'm grumpy this morning lol, and anything happening on the website is better than nothing but isn't a little more preplanning needed? Sometimes it all seems a bit random and not thought through properly.

you are not wrong Ali, Scottish kids have been on holiday for 6 weeks and go back next week !!!!! it is a good idea but once again spoilt by being so last minute and random  should have been posted months ago but oh well ! it is potentially quite a funny idea and look forward to seeing where and what lol ! C x ps. im grumpy this morning too lol !

Sarah, Joe and Peter Part 1 - Rocking London
Right before I start this is an important note...THESE ENTERIES ARE FROM BOTH JOE (joe282) and SARAH (s_a_r_a_h) THEY ARE NOT JUST FROM ME!
Right so, for our little 'Holiday' we took a day trip to London involving shopping and sightseeing and of course indulging in the food at TGI Fridays and all in all had a wicked time! We decided to take Shayne's autobiography with us and decided to put it in just about every pic of us lot!
So first stop, Buckingham Palace!
Oh we are too cool!
Next stop, Piccadilly Circus
Crossing over the Jubilee and looking over St Pauls and the Gherkin.
The London Eye and Big Ben (which is growing out of my head)
Crossing over another bridge with the Houses of Parliament
Finishing off with Big Ben!
I've got to say it was an amazing day spending it with 2 amazing friends so I thank God that I have them but I have to thank Shayne for giving me the oportunity to meet them. Because without Shayne I wouldn't have ever got the chance to meet such amazing people! SO THANK YOU SHAYNE!
(Part 2 is to follow next week, fingers crossed the comp doesn't close! And this time it's not in London)
